Mackenzie Forgacs


Mackenzie Forgacs was brought on as the Preparedness Coordinator for Greenville County Emergency Management in March 2020. As Preparedness Coordinator, Mackenzie’s role is to coordinate and update emergency plans for Greenville County, review emergency operations plans for multiple agencies and organizations, and provide operational support before, during, and after emergencies and disasters.

Prior to joining Greenville County Emergency Management, Mackenzie worked as an intern for the Federal Emergency Management Agency during the summer of 2019. As an intern, Mackenzie was equipped with hands-on experience in the field of Emergency Management, complementing her educational studies. Mackenzie received a Bachelor’s of Science in Public and Nonprofit Administration from Grand Valley State University in 2015. Currently, Mackenzie is working on her Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Emergency Services Management from Columbia Southern University. She is projected to complete her Master’s program in November of 2020.
