Angela Perry

Angela Perry accepted the position of Planning Coordinator for Greenville County Emergency Management, in September 2024. Prior to joining the Greenville team, Angela worked for South Carolina Emergency Management Division in the Regional Emergency Manager Program. A native of Columbia, SC, she retired from the South Carolina Army National Guard in 2022. She served under 59^th Aviation Troop Command and was assigned to 1-151^st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, and 2-151^st Security and Support Aviation Battalion as an Aviation Operations NCO. Angela deployed to Iraq in 2004, and deployed to Texas in support of Hurricane Harvey in 2017, and Puerto Rico in support of Hurricane Maria in 2017. Angela graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Geosciences, concentrating in Broadcast Operational Meteorology. In her free time, Angela enjoys adventuring with her husband and three children, rock hounding, and furthering her Meteorology studies. She is very excited to serve and protect the citizens of Greenville County!
