Hello, I’m Marquise Scott. I have always been into electronics and technology my entire life. This passion has led me into some very neat job opportunities. Coming up in the age of computers, I quickly found myself intrigued with building, and repairing PC’s. I spent 6 years at Computer Direct Outlet doing just that and learned so much while employed there. That led me to enrolling at ECPI College of Technology where I achieved a Degree in IT/Networking. I soon after took a position at Diversified Electronics doing installs in Emergency vehicles and learning about the importance of two-way radio. Having a strong networking background pushed me right into 911 dispatching consoles. These radios were all PC interfaced and required networking for operability. I enjoyed this career for 20 years and achieved a lot of accolades along the way. After a short break pursing my Real Estate license and flipping a few homes, I realized that I had more down time than needed, and began to miss the feeling of doing something so important with emergency services. I desired to be back in the field and was given the opportunity to join the Emergency Management team in my home town of Greenville County as a 911 radio technician. I once again feel the excitement of doing meaningful work, and am glad to be part of an amazing team!
